Odorization
Bayou Engineering is familiar with the variety of natural gas odorizers available today. As a service provider, Bayou Engineering maintains a parts inventory and technicians are trained to service a wide variety of odorization equipment. We tailor services to individual customer needs.

Farm Tap & Wick
We recommend a single component odorant product, Spotleak 1013 Tetrahydrothiophene “THT” (Thiophane) since it has been proven to work well in a wick odorizer system. Thiophane is also our choice because it is difficult to over odorize regardless of it’s concentration. This is an important factor in reducing nuisance calls at farm tap locations.

Engineering
We can manage the implementation and administration of all project phases in the upstream, midstream, and downstream construction sectors. From project planning, installation, commissioning and start-up, we provide exceptional construction management, procurement, and cost control services through Bayou Project Services.

Offshore Construction
We provide construction, fabrication and maintenance services for the onshore and offshore oil and gas sectors through Acadiana Production Services.

Compliance
A certificate of analysis is completed on each odorant batch, thus assuring conformance to Arkema specifications.

We pride ourselves in concentrating our product line on five blends that make both technical and economical sense. Bayou Engineering is capable of producing specific odorant blends, if needed.
